Welcome

This guide provides information about library services, resources, and research & instruction support that are available in the event of a brief or prolonged campus closure. Information will be updated frequently, so please check back regularly.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to Governor Pritzker's "stay-at-home" order for the state of Illinois, all physical library locations (Founders Memorial, Faraday, and Music) are closed through May 15. Only virtual library services and electronic resources are available at this time.

All reference services will be conducted virtually.

In order to access many of the Libraries' resources, you need to be authenticated as an NIU student, faculty or staff member with your Z-ID or A-ID and password. For more information about authenticating and off-campus access, visit https://library.niu.edu/ulib/authentication.shtml.
