Laptops are available for checkout by NIU students from the Circulation Desk on the first floor of Founders Memorial Library.
Laptops are available on a first come, first served basis. Prior to coming, please email us at NIULibBook@niu.edu or call 815-753-9844 to confirm availability. And remember, you need a valid OneCard for check out and return.
Laptop check out is now available for the Fall 2022 semester. The long-term loan period is for the full semester, with a due date of December 10th. The short-term loan period is for three weeks with the possibility of one renewal. Laptops must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Please do not deposit them in the outside book drops.
