Group Study Rooms

Group study rooms are available for College of Law students. The study rooms include 290-A (capacity 4-6 persons) and 290-E & 290-F (capacity 8 persons each).

  • Please reserve the study room through the online Bookings system.
  • Room use time limits:
    • Study rooms may be reserved for up to four hours a day. Please do not stack times. We only have three study rooms in the library and want to provide opportunities for as many students as possible.
    • You may stay in the room after the reservation time ends, but be aware that if/when another student reserves the room, you can be asked to leave.
  • If you have not reserved a study room but one is empty, you can use it, but please go onto Bookings and reserve the room at that time. This will ensure another person or group does not see it as open online, reserve it, and arrive to use it.
    • There are signs in the study rooms with a QR code that will link you to the Bookings system to reserve it right away.
  • There are air purifiers in each room: please keep the air purifier on. On their high settings they are still relatively quiet, but you can adjust the setting if necessary.
  • Food is not permitted in the study rooms or other areas of the library, except the student lounge. If you want to eat, please go to the student lounge or leave the library.
  • While study rooms are intended for group work, they are not soundproof. When using a study room, please be considerate of those in nearby areas by keeping noise levels low.

Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room

If you need a moment to slow down and a place for quiet reflection, reserve the Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room just off the North Wing near the water cooler. This room is available for College of Law students for individual use only. If you have any questions or comments about the room, please contact the office of Student Affairs.

  • Please reserve the study room through the online Bookings system.
  • Room use time limits:
    • The Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room may be reserved for up to thirty minutes a day. Please do not stack times. We want to provide opportunities for as many students as possible.
    • You may stay in the room after the reservation time ends, but be aware that if/when another student reserves the room, you can be asked to leave.
  • There is a sign outside the room with a QR code that will link you to the Bookings system to reserve it right away.
  • There is an air purifier in the room: please keep it on. On the high setting, it is still relatively quiet, but you can adjust the setting if necessary.
  • Please do not eat in the Meditation, Prayer and Lactation Room.
  • When using the room, please be considerate of those in nearby areas by keeping noise levels low.
