Spring 2021 Library Services Updates: Returning & Renewing Items

This guide provides information about library services, resources, research, and instruction support that are available in the event that the University is experiencing brief or prolonged closure.

Returning & Renewing Items

Items may be returned to the library book drops located on either side of the main entrance of Founders Memorial Library and the west side of Normal Road by the library.

Or, renew your items through your My Library Account. If you have reached the maximum number of renewals allowed, please email NIULibBook@niu.edu to obtain extensions. Include your full name, ZID / AID, and the titles of the items you need renewed.
