NIU has two outreach centers in the Chicagoland area. They are listed below. These centers also function as library satellites. You can pick-up and drop-off print materials requested from the DeKalb campus or through the I-SHARE system at any of these centers provided you have a One Card. You may also pick up One Cards at these locations.

Collection & Services Information:
The Learning Resource Center is designed to function as an electronic library relying on document delivery to fulfill the needs of students. In addition to many specialized databases, the Learning Resource Center provides access to I-Share, FirstSearch, and the internet offering a wide variety of resources for students to complete class assignments and research projects. Rapid delivery from Founders Library in DeKalb to the regional centers ensures that materials are available to meet student needs. Learning Resource Center staff members are available to assist patrons.
