Law Library News (archived): Study Rooms Available Now

Starting in January 2022, study rooms are once more available for College of Law students to book in advance or for walk-in reservations. The rooms can be reserved for one- or two-hour sessions and are available from the library's opening time until half an hour before closing time.

To reserve a room, please use the Law Library's Bookings calendar. You should be aware of the room use time limits:

• Study rooms can be reserved for up to two hours. Please do not stack times. We only have three study rooms in the library and want to provide opportunities for as many students as possible.
• You may stay in a room after the reservation time but be aware that if/when another student reserves the room you may be asked to leave.

If you have not reserved a study room but one is empty, feel free to use it, but please go onto the Bookings calendar and reserve the room at that time. This will ensure another person or group does not see it as open online, reserve it, and arrive to use it. There are signs in the study rooms with a QR code that will link you to the Bookings page to reserve it right away. 

If you are working in a group, please wear your masks in the rooms. Each room contains an air purifier, which should remain on at all times. Even on their high setting, they are still relatively quiet, but you can adjust the setting if necessary. 

Remember, food is not permitted in the library: this includes the study rooms. If you're hungry and brought food, please eat it in the student lounge or outside of the library. 

If you are not feeling well or are sick, do not enter the law library. We will be happy to help you virtually, however, so please contact the library for assistance or with any questions.
