When you first established your account, you selected your own username and password. As of November 26, 2018, we have implemented an updated version of our online catalog.
Note: Information regarding checked out items, due dates, requests, and fines have been migrated from existing VuFind accounts to the new version, however, saved items (saved Searches, Lists, and Favorites) have not. You may view your saved items for a limited time.
The new version of VuFind supports single sign-on authentication with your NIU credentials (email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com).
This means you can log in to the new system the same way you already do for O365 and Blackboard, and no longer need to remember separate account credentials. You will need to perform a one-time syncing process to connect the new version to your existing library catalog profile. On or after November 26, 2018, here's what to do:
Your VuFind account is now linked with your library catalog profile and you will be able to request materials from the catalog and access your account. The next time you log in, simply use your NIU credentials and proceed with your usual transactions.
