Founders Seed Library: Community Resources

DeKalb Public Library, located at 309 Oak St, DeKalb, IL 60115, is a resource for DeKalb residents and the surrounding community. Their seed library is available in the Adult Services area.

Formerly DeKalb Community Gardens, their food, community, and job training programs aim to make a difference in northern Illinois. You can volunteer, donate, or rent a community garden plot in DeKalb and surrounding areas.

Edible Campus brings NIU students, faculty and staff together with local residents and businesses to learn, practice and benefit from food system innovation. In addition to fresh food, their gardens provide opportunities to volunteer, engage in hands-on learning and conduct research.
